日 – sun / day – die Sonne / der Tag

I decided to pick up my very first fisheye lens before our trip in Japan in the hope that I could make some rather unique photos. In the end it didn’t see too much use during the trip, but it was nice to use it now and again. Shortly before the trip I often took the lens around with me for some test shots. We were in Baden one Saturday and saw a rather interesting pyramid in the sky formed from aeroplane contrails. I did my best to position the sun in the middle of the ‘pyramid’ with the tower also pointing in that direction. The fisheye lens warps things somewhat and I think I got a bit of a one-off shot in the end.
