Back to the roots

For me this post marks a return to planned photographic outings after months of fitting my hobby in where I could and I must say that I enjoyed it immensely. I wandered through the forested hills on the far side of Baden and challenged myself to find motives that were interesting from either a wide angle or tele perspective. The late afternoon sun highlighted forms that I likely would have overlooked at any other time of day. Most importantly however, I felt more alive out in the forest than I had at any point during the last few weeks. I emerged from my excursion recharged and full of excitement for photography, a great combination!
